Whether you're grading papers or assessing whether a project was successful, the ability to evaluate work fairly, consistently and efficiently is a skill worth building deliberately. This workshop covers rubrics for making criteria transparent and evaluations defensible, quick in-the-moment checks for gauging understanding, and strategies for managing evaluative workload without burning out. Grounded in the realities of teaching assistantships, the frameworks here translate to any context where you're responsible for assessing others' work.
