Graduate School - New Student Orientation

Each fall, the Graduate School presents an orientation designed specifically for new graduate students.

This year's orientation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 in the Texas Union. Check-in and breakfast will start at 8 a.m. and the first session begins at 9 a.m. This event is in addition to your department orientation. 

Your fellow graduate students, faculty and staff will introduce you to UT Austin with engaging presentations.
